OhioHealth in Columbus, OH, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Procedural Care Unit (PCU). The role provides nursing care before and after procedures across Electrophysiology, IR and Cardiovascular labs in a fast-paced outpatient/closed unit.

The RN ensures assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, with on-call and weekend shifts; Ohio license and BLS are required, BSN preferred after 5 years of employment.

  • Associate's Degree required; BSN preferred at 5 years of employment
  • BLS certification required

PCU provides care both before and after procedures for Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology and Cardiovascular labs. Procedures include TAVR's, ablations, biopsies, catheterizations and more.PCU is an outpatient/closed unit, there are no floating requirements.Day shift holiday requirement: Either one working holiday or one on call shift.Weekend: One 12 hour shift every 8 weeks required, either Saturday or SundayScheduling: 8 week set/repeating schedule allowing you to know your schedule for a better work life balance.On call: You will be placed on call one weekend from 7a-7p one to two times yearly.ED, ICU, or cardiac/intermediate experience preferred.If you are looking for a role that is both inspiring and rewarding, PCU could be the place for you!Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings.
