Job summary

The County Of Adams seeks a Training Coordinator in Gettysburg, PA to lead training programs for the Probation Services department. You will collaborate with the Chief Probation Officer, Deputy Chiefs of Operations, Directors, and the CQI Coordinator to ensure staff have essential knowledge and competencies for high-quality probation services.

The role oversees training compliance, certifications, and workforce development, embedding EBPs and restorative justice into curricula while evaluating

Qualifications

• Three years of probation services experience required.
• Knowledge of courts, corrections, and law enforcement relationships.
• Certification in Protective Safety Systems and firearms after hire.
• Annual 40 hours of training post-hire.
• Ongoing training in instructional design and adult learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage training, onboarding, and professional development for the Probation Department.
• Oversee training compliance, certification, and recertification requirements.
• Integrate EBPs and restorative justice principles into curricula.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and support skill development and QA initiatives.
