Qualifications

• Four or more years of experience in Probation & Parole, Corrections, or Office Support within the Missouri Department of Corrections.
• OR four or more years in related social services, probation/parole, corrections, law enforcement, or counseling fields; with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Investigates offender backgrounds and assesses risk to determine supervision strategies.
• Counsels offenders at home or work and attends court for assignments and reports.
• Assists in vocational/educational planning and coordinates with public/private agencies.
• Prepares statistical reports and conducts tests; participates in investigations and committees.
