Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience may substitute education on a year-for-year basis.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and at least 18 years old.
• Willing to qualify with, carry, and use assigned weapons.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical/psychological evaluations.
• Must possess valid driver's license and complete academy training.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains offenders' records and reports.
• Monitors offenders to ensure compliance with release requirements.
• Interviews probationers and parolees to assess progress.
• Conducts investigations for hearings and supports court proceedings.
• Trains under supervision to perform field duties.
