State of Oklahoma seeks a Probation and Parole Officer within Region I to supervise offenders and support re-entry efforts on a full-time, on-site basis. Salary levels range from Level I to Level III and are non-negotiable.

Duties include caseload management, motivational interviewing, investigations (pre-sentence/interstate/pre-parole), report preparation, and monitoring of fines/obligations. Travel and driver’s license may be required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, criminology, education, criminal justice, or related field.
• Ability to manage substantial caseloads and to testify in court.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a caseload of adult felons using motivational interviewing to assess risk/need.
• Conduct investigations (pre-sentence, interstate, pre-pardon, pre-parole).
• Prepare activity reports and provide recommendations to releasing authority.
• Maintain offender documentation (physical and electronic).
• Monitor financial obligations and collect payments.
• Support security operations and transport offenders when required.
