Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or 63 credits from a four-year college in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of probation services, laws, regulations, and reporting procedures.
• Skills include conducting home visits, interviewing probationers, and updating databases.
• Physical requirements allow light work and occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Meets and interviews probationers during home visits and office meetings.
• Monitors offenders via electronic/GPS monitoring under supervision.
• Assists with pre-sentence investigations and evaluations.
• Prepares reports, court paperwork, logs, and location reports.
• Performs related duties of similar scope.
