Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law and Justice, Social Sciences, Psychology or related field is required.
• Two years professional experience in criminal justice or counseling, with adult probation/corrections exposure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a caseload of adult misdemeanant probationers under court orders.
• Conduct risk assessments and pre-sentence investigations for cases.
• Monitor compliance with conditions and provide counseling and crisis intervention.
• Make referrals to treatment and community services as needed.
• Prepare reports, violation documents, and maintain case records.
• Provide court testimony and coordinate with prosecutors, defense, and law enforcement.
• Assist with staff meetings and participate in policy and case management activities.
