Burnet County, through its Adult Probation and Bond Officer support, seeks a Community Supervision Officer/Bond Officer to manage a caseload and supervise probationers and Pre-Trial clients. The role requires intake, testing, documentation and coordination with internal and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Preferred degree in criminology, corrections, counseling, law, social work, or related field; or at least one year of full-time casework/community work.
• Must complete annual training and Officer Certification within twelve months of employment; TRAS Certification must be obtained and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload and monitor probationers' compliance with court conditions.
• Perform orientation/intake and assessment; obtain urine samples and drug testing per policy.
• Maintain case files and prepare required reports; document all contacts with probationers and agencies.
• Coordinate with other criminal justice agencies and participate in required trainings.
