Bell County in Central Texas seeks a supervision officer to perform moderately complex social casework under supervision, enforcing terms set by the court. You will supervise and rehabilitate defendants, prepare and file reports, and coordinate referrals to treatment programs.

You will counsel defendants and families, manage case records, testify as needed, and oversee payments and resources while maintaining professionalism in community settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in criminal justice or related field and one year of experience or graduate study in related field.

Responsabilités

• Prepare direct and indirect supervision reports and CJAD case classifications.
• Counsel defendants and provide rehabilitative training for defendants and families.
• Make referrals and arrange treatment (inpatient and outpatient).
• Administer and witness urine tests for contraband substances.
• Maintain current case records and testify in court when required.
• Provide transportation to treatment facilities and manage funds distribution per court orders.
• Maintain professional proficiency and carry a firearm if permitted.
