Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution in Houston, TX, seeks an experienced Probate and Trust Litigation Associate Attorney to join a thriving practice on a partnership-track. The role focuses on fiduciary disputes, complex probate matters, and trust and estate controversies, with ownership of matters, direct client contact, and meaningful docket management.

This hybrid position offers in-office four days a week, a base salary starting at $140,000, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active Texas law license in good standing.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• At least 5 years of probate litigation experience.
• Strong command of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Rules of Evidence.
• Ability to independently manage a docket and run matters with supervision.
• Interest in business development and building referral relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage probate and trust litigation matters from intake through resolution.
• Develop and execute litigation strategy, including early case assessment and settlement positioning.
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and other filings.
• Handle written discovery and document strategy.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare for hearings, mediations, and trial preparation as needed.
• Communicate with clients regarding strategy, risk, and settlement options.
• Contribute to practice development through client relationship building and referrals.
