Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Litigation Assistant.
• Strong knowledge of state, federal, and probate court rules, filing procedures, and e-filing systems.
• Proven ability to support multiple attorneys while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, proofreading, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to anticipate needs and work without detailed direction on routine responsibilities.
• High attention to detail and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Probate litigation and NetDocs experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Draft, proofread, edit, and redline correspondence, pleadings, memoranda, and engagement letters.
• Prepare and coordinate court filings, discovery, and other case-related documents.
• E-file documents with state, federal, and probate courts.
• Maintain organized electronic files in the firm's document management system (NetDocs).
• Open new client and matter files and run conflict checks.
• Manage attorney calendars and client contacts.
• Coordinate travel, meetings, video conferences, and presentation materials.
