Job summary

Miami Family Law Group seeks a Junior Associate Probate Litigation Attorney to support probate, trust, and estate disputes under senior attorneys. This growth role offers real litigation exposure in a structured, supportive practice.

You will handle assigned matters, draft pleadings, assist in hearings, conduct legal research, and communicate with clients while developing toward independent case management.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing is required.
• 3-5 years of probate litigation or closely related experience.
• Exposure to contested probate matters, trust disputes, hearings, or motion practice.
• Ability to manage assigned matters and develop toward independent litigation ownership.
• Strong legal writing, research, and client communication skills.
• Organized, dependable, and receptive to mentorship and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Support probate, estate, and trust litigation matters from start to finish with partner guidance.
• Advise clients on case status, strategy, and next steps under attorney supervision.
• Draft, review, and refine pleadings, motions, discovery, and related documents.
• Represent clients in hearings, court proceedings, and negotiations with senior support.
• Collaborate with probate administration team when litigation overlaps with estate administration.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other tools.
• Work closely with support staff to maintain organized files and meet deadlines.
