Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an experienced Probate and Estate Administration Attorney to join our Daytona Beach team. The role focuses on administering intestate estates and guiding families through the probate process, with an opportunity to build a new practice area within the firm.

Candidates should be Florida Bar members with substantial probate experience and a deep understanding of the Florida Probate Code.

Qualifications

• Florida Bar member with substantial probate and estate administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Florida Probate Code and related legal procedures.
• Process-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage a high-volume docket.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to help shape a new practice area.
• Strong communication skills with families and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in contested probate matters is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and administer intestate estates in Florida probate court.
• Prepare and file necessary probate documents, including petitions and inventories.
• Serve as the primary legal contact for families, providing guidance and support.
• Coordinate with internal teams to focus on legal strategy and filings.
• Manage a high-volume caseload with precision and attention to detail.
• Handle both uncontested and contested probate matters.
