Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an experienced Probate and Estate Administration Attorney to join the Saint Augustine, FL team and build a practice area focused on intestate estate administration for families of deceased clients. The role offers growth alongside a supportive legal team and opportunities to shape procedures.

The ideal candidate will have Florida Bar membership with probate experience, strong Florida Probate Code knowledge, and an entrepreneurial mindset to establish scalable processes

Qualifications

• Florida Bar membership with probate and estate administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Florida Probate Code and procedures.
• Process-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage a high-volume docket.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to help shape a new practice area.
• Strong communication skills with families and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in contested probate matters is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and administer intestate estates in Florida probate court.
• Prepare and file necessary probate documents, including petitions and inventories.
• Serve as the primary legal contact for families, providing guidance throughout the process.
• Coordinate with internal teams to focus on legal strategy and filings.
• Manage a high-volume caseload with precision and attention to detail.
• Handle both uncontested and contested probate matters.
• Help establish scalable probate processes as the practice grows.
