Qualifications

• Prior experience as a legal assistant in a law firm.

• Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Open new matters and file new cases with the court.
• Prepare and file pleadings, motions, notices and other docs under attorney supervision.
• Send documents for electronic signature to clients.
• Maintain and update deadlines, hearings, and calendars.
• Coordinate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties.
• Assist with hearing/trial prep and organize exhibits.
• Document activity in the firm’s case management system.
• Respond to client emails and return calls as directed.
