Qualifications

• Active California State Bar membership is required.
• At least two years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong time management in fast-paced, high-volume practice.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Responsibilities

• Embrace universal access to civil legal aid and ensure clients with probate or elder law matters get appropriate help.
• Empower clients to know their rights in trust administration, estate planning, conservatorship, and elder abuse matters.
• Manage a full caseload with efficient opening and closing of cases.
• Conduct intake and triage to determine case acceptance or referrals.
• Navigate conservatorship cases through the required approvals process.
• Provide trauma-informed advocacy and referrals through the organization’s network.
• Work with pro bono partners and volunteers to increase team capacity.
