Wade Litigation, a growing litigation and family law group in California, seeks an experienced attorney to lead complex cases. You will meet with clients, draft pleadings, manage depositions, and handle discovery while advocating in court.

You will discuss strategy, draft motions, and participate in mediations and arbitrations. A strong track record in probate, wills, and estate litigation is highly valued, with focus on client service and professional integrity.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed California attorney with strong academic credentials.
• Extensive experience in litigation and family law contexts preferred.
• Proven ability to manage complex cases, draft pleadings, and handle discovery with consistency.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather facts and advise on strategy.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and court filings with attention to detail.
• Administer depositions, propounding and responding to discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research and write persuasive motions.
• Make court appearances and argue motions.
• Participate in trials and hearings, and interview witnesses.
• Draft agreements and negotiate settlements.
• Attend mediations and arbitrations as needed.

Job description

This is a growing litigation and family law group focused on serving California individuals and businesses.

Description of the Position:

Primary duties will include meeting with clients, drafting pleadings, administering depositions, propounding and responding to discovery, conducting research, writing motions, making court appearances, arguing motions, participating in trials, interviewing witnesses, drafting agreements, negotiating settlements, attending mediations, and arbitrations, handling family law cases and other activities requested by the partners.

Requirements:

• * Must be a licensed California attorney
• *Excellent academic credentials.
• *Strong work ethic and reliability are a must.
• *Exemplary client service skills with prompt response levels at all times.
• *Desire to make court appearances, argue motions, and participate in hearings
• *10+ years of experience as a licensed attorney.
• * Minimum of 5 years of probate; wills, trust, and estate litigation experience
• * Detail-oriented with strong drafting and negotiating skills and the ability to communicate legal subject matter to non-attorneys.
• *Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, business judgment, and strategic legal thinking.
• *Ability to manage workflow independently to meet firm deadlines while achieving business and risk management objectives.
• *Courtroom experience preferred but not a prerequisite.
• *Knowledge of the Code of Civil Procedure
