Job summary

ATI Health in Terre Haute, IN is seeking an Injury Prevention Specialist/Athletic Trainer to support on-site employee health programs. The role focuses on early intervention, injury prevention, and program development for industrial and office clients.

You'll collaborate with partners, maintain compliance with safety standards, and contribute to training and wellness initiatives. This PRN, day-shift position emphasizes growth, mentorship, and hands-on program delivery on-site.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Athletic Training required.
Alternative: PTA with licensure, or Bachelor's in Exercise Science/Kinesiology/Allied Health; or 2 years in military healthcare.
Discipline-specific license or certification as appropriate.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and AED certification required.
BOC certified or eligible to sit for BOC preferred.

Responsibilities

Interface with office and industrial clients to assess health status and create improvement plans.
Observe employee work performance to assess body mechanics and determine risk and mitigation.
Document all treatments in the workplace with coaching for continuous improvement.
Understand OSHA recordkeeping rules (29 CFR 1904.7).
Address discomfort through education and job-specific coaching to prevent injuries.
Assist with medical surveillance testing and clinic operations.
Provide employee health education and training on wellness and disease prevention.
