Job summary

ATI Health, Fort Morgan, CO, seeks an Infection Prevention Specialist to design and implement injury prevention programs for on-site employees. The role emphasizes assessing body mechanics, ranking risk, and delivering targeted coaching to prevent injuries.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field.
Discipline-specific license or certification as appropriate.
Basic Life Support and AED Certification.
BOC certified or eligible to sit for BOC preferred.

Responsibilities

Interfacing with office and industrial clients to assess employee health status and create an individualized improvement plan.
Observe employee work performance to assess body mechanics, risk, and mitigation plan.
Perform and document all employee treatments within the workplace with coaching for continuous improvement.
Understand OSHA recordkeeping rules as they pertain to first aid (29 CFR 1904.7).
Proactively address discomfort through education and job-specific coaching to reduce injury contributions.
Assist with medical surveillance testing and clinic operations.
Identify, develop, and provide employee health education and training on wellness and disease prevention topics.
