Job summary

Aptar Pharma in Congers, NY is seeking a Mechanical Reliability Technician to enhance equipment performance through risk-based assessments, preventive maintenance scheduling, and effective spare parts management across shifts.

You will train new mechanics, develop annual PM modules, monitor downtime from auto-test parts, and lead root-cause investigations to minimize production disruptions while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of mechanical improvement experience in a technical field.
• Experience with industrial assembly equipment.
• Analytical mindset with proactive root-cause investigation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and Neptune ALM.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based equipment assessments and define remediation actions.
• Schedule preventive maintenance across multiple shifts.
• Train new mechanics and develop maintenance plans.
• Manage spare parts inventory to balance availability and costs.
• Monitor downtime and drive improvements in auto-test parts.
