Job summary

OSI Group in Utah seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to proactively maintain machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance. You will install and service equipment, respond to service calls, and keep accurate records to support production uptime.

The role requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience, strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, ability to read drawings, and basic welding skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic.
• Strong understanding of maintenance fundamentals and electrical power.
• Able to read mechanical and technical drawings.
• Basic mechanics and electrical knowledge.
• Proficient with maintenance tools and safety procedures.
• Experience with gas/arc/TIG welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing and servicing equipment using hand tools.
• Respond to service calls promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Move and lift components using hoists, dollies, or provided equipment.
• Update daily work communications.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and parts inventory.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.
• Use and maintain safety equipment on site.
• Follow safety, GMP, and environmental requirements.
• Execute job orders and keep records.
• Assist team members with troubleshooting across all grades.
• Other duties as needed.
