The Hyatt Regency Schaumburg is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Engineer responsible for ensuring the hotel is safe, functional, and ready for guests. This role focuses on proactive maintenance and repairs across guest rooms and public areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of building maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance on ice machines, refrigerators, and HVAC systems.
• Handle basic plumbing repairs and troubleshoot laundry equipment.
• Document completed tasks in the hotel's work-order system.
