Job summary

JBT Marel Corporation is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to perform day-to-day upkeep on facilities, grounds, and equipment in our production environment. You will respond to downtime, conduct preventative care, and keep accurate repair records.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years in a maintenance role, strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, forklift experience, and the ability to work under shifting deadlines while complying with safety rules.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a maintenance role or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a changing work environment.
• High level of initiative and strong problem-solving skills with mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Service-oriented with the capability to work with people and support production teams.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day maintenance as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Responds to equipment downtime quickly and identifies problems.
• Performs proactive and preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Records and documents repairs and parts issues as needed.
• Maintains regulatory compliance related to facilities, grounds and equipment.
