Job summary

JBT Marel Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle day-to-day upkeep of facilities, grounds and equipment in Stratford, WI. You will support production areas, respond to downtime, and perform proactive maintenance while documenting repairs and ensuring safety compliance.

The role requires 2–3 years in maintenance/manufacturing, ability to manage multiple priorities, and a strong mechanical/electrical skillset, including use of a multimeter and forklift operation.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in a maintenance role or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work with multiple priorities and deadlines in a changing environment.
• High initiative, strong problem-solving skills, good judgment and mechanical/electrical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance as directed by supervisor.
• Respond to equipment downtime and identify problems for repair.
• Conduct proactive and preventative maintenance to identify issues early.
• Record and document repairs and parts issues.
• Review assets for reliability and performance concerns.
• Operate within a work-order system and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain facilities, grounds and equipment safety.
• Assist in facilities maintenance and train other technicians.
• Operate lifts and forklifts and support emergency repairs as needed.
• Advise on improvements and participate in safety programs.
