Job summary

Vertiv Corporation is seeking a Safety & EHS Specialist to support environmental, safety, and health activities across service centers. You will train employees, promote a proactive safety culture, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or related experience.
• Experience in Electrical work (low/medium voltage) and/or Construction.
• Strong organizational and research skills.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive personal and team implementation of WE LEAD WITH SAFETY.
• Promote safety culture and lead safety programs.
• Assist with maintaining and reporting EHS metrics for the Electrical Reliability Services Business.
• Support safety audits, hazard controls, and training.
• Recordkeeping for OSHA logs and safety documentation.
• Provide on-site customer safety support and issue resolution.
• Participate in Safety Committees and Fleet Safety initiatives.
• Monitor environmental impacts per Vertiv policies and regulations.
• Assist in developing plans and procedures for safety program implementation.
• Interface with all levels of the organization.
• Conduct accident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Possess knowledge of Electrical Safety and NFPA 70E.
• Coordinate safety audits and hazard assessments as required.
• Collaborate with Workers' Compensation programs.
