Job summary

You will monitor loads end-to-end, respond quickly to disruptions, and collaborate with service providers to resolve issues while maintaining high driver satisfaction and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of transportation, trucking, logistics, or related experience required.
• Experience with ELD systems and transportation management software is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Proactively provide support to our fleet of 20+ drivers through daily operations, staying aware of each driver’s location, load stage, and potential issues.
• Anticipate operational obstacles and take action before delays, missed appointments, or driver frustrations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, offering immediate answers, thoughtful solutions, and thorough support.
• Monitor loads from pickup through delivery and address issues involving appointments, delays, detention, breakdowns, or traffic.
• Communicate load information, rate confirmations, pickup and delivery instructions, and unplanned changes with urgency and accuracy.
• Work closely with brokers, shippers, receivers, vendors, and other service providers to resolve problems and keep freight moving.
• Assist drivers with ELD issues, HOS questions, roadside situations, equipment problems, and other road challenges.
• Own problems from beginning to end rather than passing them along to others.
• Coordinate breakdowns, repairs, towing, roadside assistance, and other equipment-related issues.
• Identify opportunities to simplify the driver’s day and remove friction from the operation.
