The ideal candidate will think one step ahead, maintain strong driver relationships, and oversee scheduling, fleet maintenance, and growth initiatives to scale the business effectively.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of transportation, trucking, logistics, fleet management, or related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience leading operations teams and coordinating drivers.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operations Team, directing coordinators and technicians, ensuring accountability and proactive issue resolution.
• Own the daily operation, maintaining a high-level view of trucks, drivers, loads, and issues, with urgency.
• Build schedules and coverage, optimize staffing, and determine when to add roles or after-hours support.
• Oversee Fleet Management, maintenance scheduling, and cost reduction opportunities.
• Collaborate with the owner on growth strategies and executable operating plans.
