Job summary

Miller Bros. Const., Inc. in Ohio is seeking an Over-the-Road Fleet Manager to lead the safe, compliant management of the company’s licensed vehicle fleet and highway trailers.

This role coordinates maintenance, registrations, fuel programs, and driver qualification while partnering with Operations, Safety, HR, and Leadership to control costs and improve accountability. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fleet Management, Business, Transportation, Logistics, or related field; 5+ years of relevant experience OR 10+ years progressive fleet/vehicle-management experience.
• Experience managing a geographically dispersed commercial fleet preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA/state/local vehicle requirements and driver qualification practices.
• Experience with fleet-management, telematics, fuel-card, toll-management, maintenance, or enterprise accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe, compliant, cost-effective management of the company’s licensed and plated vehicle fleet.
• Coordinate vehicle assignments, transfers, and take-home approvals.
• Manage driver qualification coordination, maintenance scheduling, registrations, titles, and insurance support.
• Oversee fuel-card, toll-pass, licensing, and vendor programs; ensure compliance with policies.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs on fleet size, utilization, and costs.
