Job summary

Ken Garff Automotive Group in Lehi, Utah seeks an Automotive Service Technician to perform precise repair work, diagnose issues, and ensure quality control in line with dealership standards. You will use the DMS for work distribution, quotes and timekeeping, while maintaining a clean workspace.

Prior automotive technician experience and ASE or manufacturer certifications are highly preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required; 18+ with legal work authorization.

Qualifications

• Accommodating and analytical, while producing highly precise and accurate work.
• Resourceful with a high level of technical expertise.
• Unselfish and approachable with a preference for detailed, skill-based work.
• Prior automotive technician experience preferred.
• ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications highly preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid in-state driver’s license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders, in accordance with dealership, state and factory standards.
• Address customers' primary concerns with diagnosis, repair and quality control to attain 'Fixed First Visit' expectations.
• Perform the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection along with video on every vehicle; notify Service Advisor if additional recommendations or more time is needed.
• Master the Dealer Management System (DMS) for work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes, communication and time keeping.
• Complete required training as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout workspace and in all customer vehicles.
