Job summary

Troon, at Lakewood Country Club in Naples, FL, seeks a Pro Shop Attendant to support cashiering, reservations, guest check-in, and inventory display. You will process payments in the POS and help maintain a clean, safe environment for guests and staff.

Ideal candidates are friendly, coachable, with strong communication, basic computer skills, dependability, and a passion for golf. Golf knowledge is a plus; you’ll assist both inside and outside staff during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerk/cashier like duties.
• Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course.
• Provide customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in.
• Arrange and display golf shop inventory as necessary and directed.
• Collect green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and process in the POS system as trainer.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe workplace.
• Assist in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of the day.
• Ensure property and its amenities are secured daily.
• Assist with set-up of equipment and golf carts.

General Description Of Duties And Responsibilities

When acting as an Inside staff member

• Perform clerk/cashier like duties
• Responsible for processing customer reservations for guests of the golf course
• Provides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check‑in process
• Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directed
• Collects green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and processes in the POS system as trainer
• Assists in maintaining a clean, safe workplac
• Assists in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of the da
• Ensure property and it's amenities are secured dail
• Assist with set‑up of equipment and golf cart

Perform related duties as assigned by General Manager

• When acting as an "Outside" staff membe
• Perform Starter/Ranger like duties
• Responsible for welcoming and greeting of guests and players in a friendly manner
• Explaining rules and course etiquette to all groups if needed
• Wash and sanitize golf cart fleet, maintain organized storage areas and practice facility
• Assist with the set‑up and organization of the golf carts and equipment for any regular tee time starts or outing
• Facilitate orderly and timely pace of play of groups to prevent delay
• Answer all questions in a friendly manner. Keep a record of starting times and golf cart numbers for each group when necessary
• Ensure that each group has four players if possible
• Responsible for the picking up and cleaning practice balls when schedule
• Ensure property and it's amenities are secured daily
• Perform related duties as assigned by General Manager
