Make Golf Your Career is seeking a Pro Shop Attendant to manage the point-of-sale, check-in guests, and assist with merchandise knowledge at the golf facility.

You will support the golf professional staff, handle reservations, process payments in the POS, and maintain attractive shop displays while delivering fast, friendly service to golfers and visitors. This role suits someone who enjoys golf, works well in a team, and is reliable during busy tee times.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge about the game of golf preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course.
• Provide customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in process.
• Arrange and display golf shop inventory as necessary and directed.
• Collect green and cart fees and other revenue from guests and process in the POS system as trained.
• Issue receipts for guest purchases.
• Take messages for staff or guests.
• Assist in packing and unpacking inventory and golf operations supplies.
• Assist in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of the day.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Pro Shop Attendants primarily work the point of sale system, checking golfers in, managing the tee sheet, and providing product knowledge about golf merchandise to golfers to drive sales. The Golf Shop Attendant offers friendly and expedient service to the property's guests and assists the golf professional staff in golf shop operations, merchandise sales, and other golf-related activities.
