Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, manage returns, and support store sales initiatives.

You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assist in upselling, stock shelves, maintain inventory knowledge, and provide excellent service to walk-in customers while complying with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers promoting sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers and provide CPP insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts/services.
• Other duties as assigned.
