Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Fairhope, AL is seeking a driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will build relationships with key customers and assist in upselling while maintaining store cleanliness and inventory accuracy.

The role requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work varied days, evenings and weekends. Automotive parts experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals.
• Use basic math for transactions and measurement.
• Ability to engage customers and promote products.
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
