Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Driver to pick, stage, and deliver parts to pro customers. The role emphasizes building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, upselling where appropriate, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Automotive parts experience is preferred, and flexibility to work various shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; ability to communicate with customers, peers and leadership.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, catalogs and procedures.
• Use basic math for transactions and measurement.
• Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products.
• Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers; provide insights from deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and basic stocking duties.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
