Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Ocala, FL is seeking a dedicated driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, manage returns, and promote current sales and loyalty programs. You will engage with walk-in customers and support upselling to increase average transaction value.

Maintaining store cleanliness, stocking, inventory knowledge, and assisting with credit accounts are part of the role. A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to upsell and cross-sell to increase transaction value.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
