Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Vero Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will also pick up returns, handle daily credit accounts, and help promote current sales and loyalty programs.

The role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to read catalogs, basic math, and friendly communication to build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers. Automotive parts experience is preferred, with willingness to learn and upsell.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read safety rules, manuals, catalogs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
