Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a parts delivery driver to pick, stage and deliver to pro customers, while promoting sales and loyalty programs. You will also manage returns, assist with upselling, and maintain stock and cleanliness in the store.

A valid driver's license and automotive parts familiarity are preferred. The role requires engaging with walk-in customers, collecting payments, and building relationships with key pro customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
