Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver automotive parts to pro customers in the Alexandria area. You will handle returns, promote current sales and loyalty programs, and manage credit accounts daily.

Responsibilities include building relationships with national pro customers, upselling, stocking, and maintaining clean, organized stores. Must be able to work days, evenings and weekends and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
