Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Summersville, WV seeks a dependable Delivery Driver for pro customers. You will pick, stage and safely deliver parts, handle returns, assist in upselling, maintain store cleanliness, and engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts and services.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license; automotive parts experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, parts catalogs and procedures.
• Use basic math for transactions and counting.
• Able to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Promote products and provide friendly customer service.
• Identify customer needs and recommend parts or services.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
