Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an energetic delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and assist with daily store operations in Wisconsin.

You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, promote current sales and loyalty programs, and help upsell products to increase average transaction value. Must have a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be capable of lifting up to 50–100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate effectively with customers and teammates.
• Read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math for transactions and measurements; flexible to work various shifts.
• Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products.
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
