Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver in the United States to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, pick up returns, and promote loyalty programs. You will build relationships with customers and assist in upselling to increase transaction value.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. The role involves heavy lifting and daily inside/outside work and offers benefits and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
