Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a driver to pick, stage and deliver auto parts to pro customers, while promoting sales and loyalty programs. You will also handle returns, cores and credit account collections, building lasting relationships with major pro customers.

The role requires inventory knowledge, strong customer service, and the ability to upsell products. Physical tasks include stocking and lifting up to 100 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver''s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in automotive parts retail is a plus.
• Ability to read safety rules and parts catalogs.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
