Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Ashland, KY is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, while keeping the store clean and stocked.

You will build relationships with customers, assist in upselling, manage returns and cores, and use the delivery board system. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license with a good driving record are required, with ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Operate inventory systems (Back stock) and store equipment.
• Perform cycle counts and stocking responsibilities.
• Build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
