Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Kentucky is seeking a Driver/Delivery associate to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, promote current sales and loyalty programs, and assist with weekly flyer distributions.

You will collect credit accounts, upsell and cross-sell to increase transaction value, stock shelves, maintain cleanliness, and engage walk-in customers to assess needs and suggest appropriate parts or services. A valid driver's license and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Must speak and write English; Spanish is a plus.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals.
• Basic math for measurements and pricing.
• Confident in customer engagement and promotion of products.
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
