Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Vidalia, GA is seeking a driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, and help grow loyalty programs.

You will also handle returns, upsell products, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and willingness to work weekends are required. Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
