Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Covington, GA is seeking a driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, pick up returns and cores, and help promote current sales and loyalty programs. You will maintain the showroom floor, stock parts, engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs, and upsell where appropriate.

A valid driver's license and a high school diploma are required; automotive parts experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Strong customer service and sales aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
