Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Forsyth, GA is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, while building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro accounts.

You will assist with upselling and cross-selling, maintain store cleanliness, and handle daily credit account collections. Must hold a valid driver’s license; automotive parts experience is a plus; ability to work weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work on varied shifts including weekends.
• Automotive parts experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and upselling skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
