Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Atlanta is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, handle returns, and promote current promotions. You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing insights from deliveries and assisting with upselling.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license; automotive parts experience is preferred. Spanish is a plus in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
