Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a delivery-focused associate to pick, stage, and deliver parts to pro customers and manage returns. You will promote sales, collect credit accounts, and build strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while learning CPP insights from daily deliveries.

Essential duties include stocking, walking customers through product options, and upselling to raise transaction value, while maintaining a clean store and accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedures.
• Use basic math accurately for transactions and measurements.
• Confident in engaging customers and promoting products.
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers with CPP insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory and new arrivals to assist sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts/services.
• Other duties as assigned.
