Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Lugoff, SC is hiring a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and walk-in customers. You will promote sales, collect payments, and maintain inventory while upholding store cleanliness and safety standards.

You must have a valid driver's license, high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work days, evenings and weekends. Prior automotive parts experience is preferred and excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and leadership
• Read and interpret safety rules and manuals
• Use basic math for transactions and measurements
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights
• Upsell and cross-sell products to increase transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness and inventory
• Engage with walk-in customers to assess needs and recommend solutions
• Assist with stock and cycle counts
